Throughout Q1 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on Android in Russia showed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the weekly metrics for these leading apps.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery started the quarter strong with 173K downloads in the first week of January, but experienced a gradual decline, bottoming out at around 120K in late January. However, it bounced back mid-quarter, peaking at 143K downloads in the week of February 19. The app maintained a high level of active users, starting at 3.88M and fluctuating within the range, ending the quarter with approximately 3.66M active users.

Uber Russia — order taxis had a more modest download performance, beginning with 67K in the first week of January and seeing a general downward trend, hitting a low of 31K in mid-March. The active user base showed a slight decline from 673K at the start of the quarter to 571K by the end, with some recovery mid-quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw its downloads decrease from 35K in early January to a more stable range of around 22K towards the end of the quarter. Active users also decreased from 252K initially to approximately 175K by the end of March, with some fluctuations throughout the period.
